Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Program Manager to lead our efforts in becoming fully compliant with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) by the deadline of 17 January 2025. This role involves coordinating projects, securing resources, and providing expert guidance on regulatory compliance within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall DORA compliance program from inception to delivery, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
  • Coordinate various DORA-related initiatives, including ongoing and new projects necessary for full compliance.
  • Secure and manage resources and expertise from within the organisation to support project needs.
  • Provide transparent updates on program status through regular status reports and updates for stakeholders, including committees and board members.
  • Lead risk management efforts by assessing potential compliance risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and provide training and educational resources to ensure all employees understand and comply with DORA requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance within financial institutions, preferably with knowledge of EU regulations.
  • Strong familiarity with the financial services industry and an understanding of the operational impacts of DORA compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze regulatory requirements and develop effective compliance strategies.
  • Expertise in risk management, particularly in assessing and mitigating risks associated with regulatory non-compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  • Solid project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring compliance projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve compliance goals.
